Cleveland was born on December 30, 1968 in Baltimore, Md to Cleveland Melvin and Rosemary Hilton. Cleveland graduated from Lake Clifton High School. Cleveland also attended college in Oklahoma and Kansas City.

(Cleveland) lovingly known as “Di Di” and ”The Big Fella,” was an accomplished Basketball Player. His love for Basketball began at the Cecil Kirk Recreation Center. Cleveland was a force to be reckoned with on the court and off the court. Playing in local leagues like The Dome, Cecil Kirk, Bocek and Chick Webb. Cleveland made a name for himself on the court and was well known in the community. The love he had for basketball also gave him the opportunity to attend college in Oklahoma and Kansas City. Cleveland was also an avid gamer, sipping on his St. Ides and playing his PlayStation was his second favorite pastime. Cleveland “DI Di” had a deep love for family and was a loyal son, brother and father. Cleveland “Di Di” also had a special place in his heart for his “Aunt Jo”, who was a second mother to him, and Spencer Kelly who was a second father and big influence in Cleveland’s life. Those who knew Cleveland “Di Di” knew his genuine heart and giving nature. With phrases like “Blow it!’, (if you knew him well you know the rest), his larger than life personality and sense of humor is something we will always remember. We cherish the time we had with him and we will forever hold him in our hearts.
