It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Claudia Lawson, who peacefully entered eternal rest on June 11, 2026 at the age of 82.

Born on November 28, 1943, in Washington, D.C., Claudia was a woman of elegance, strength, compassion, and unsavering faith. She dedicated many years of her life to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Her kindness, patience and selfless spirit touched countless lives. 

Claudia was a woman who found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved shopping, dancing and most of all, spending quality time with her family. She cherished family gatherings, celebrations and the little moments that created lifelong memories.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph Lawson, who passed away on June 10, 2022. Their love and commitment to one another was a beautiful example to all who knew them.

Claudia leaves to cherish her memory her loving children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, siblings and other loved ones.
