Clara E Thomas

MS.CLARA E. THOMAS, daughter of the late Rose Mae and Joseph Thomas was born April 21, 1936 in Baltimore, MD. Clara ended her earthly journey and ascended into her heavenly home on March 22, 2017 after a short illness.

Clara was affectionately known to everyone as "Twiggie" or "Bones". She received her education in the Baltimore City Public School System. In her younger years, she worked as a barmaid at the Biddle Bar, where she made many friends. She loved to drink (in her words) "My Gusto". Clara always spoke her mind by telling people exactly how she felt, using her own choice of words. Clara didn't bite her tongue for anyone.

Clara was preceded in death by five sons, Lennard, Lawrence, Leon, Tyrone and Earl; one daughter, Arnetta ; two grandsons, one great-grandson, six brothers, two sisters and one sister-in-law.

Clara was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She leaves to cherish her memory: two sons, Kenneth and Maurice; eleven granddaughters, twelve grandsons, twenty-seven great granddaughters, twenty-four great grandsons, four great great-granddaughters, three great great - grandsons; one brother, Albert; six sisters, Dorothy, Evelyn, Mary, Diane, Ada and Delores; one uncle, Herbert; son-in-law, Fleet; two daughter-in-laws, Lellian and Gail, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
