CLARA J. BELL, born unto the late Amos and Mae Kate Johnson was called home to be with the lord on January 11, 2018. Clara departed this life after a lengthy illness.

Clara was born and raised in Baltimore City. Where she received her education from the Baltimore City Public School System. She was employed by Fayette Health Rehabilitation Center where she worked diligently for 27 years. She was known and loved by all she cared for, worked with and came in contact with.

Clara was affectionately known as "Mother", "Stank" and "Chicken" "Clara Jane", "Boot", "Red". Clara was a beautiful, loving person. With natural "Nurturing and Caring instincts. Prior to becoming a caregiver for FHR, Clara was a daycare mother and provider for 15 years. Clara enjoyed, drinking coffee, bowling, bingo, scratch off's, trips to the dover casino, but most of all spending time with her family.

Clara leaves to mourn her loving and devoted husband, Michael Bell Sr.' mother-in-law, Bertha Bell; one daughter, Clara Hadley (Vernon); three sons, Malik El-Bey (Sharon), Henry Privette (Renee) and Christopher Elmore; two step children, Michael Bell Jr. and Lanayah Bell; 16 grandchildren, one grandson Christopher Elmore Jr. whom proceded her in death; 22 great grand children; one brother Amos Johnson Jr., one sister Jacquelyn Graves and one sister, Amy Johnson whom proceded her in death; two goddaughters, two devoted best friends, Jackie Robinson and Faye La'Prade; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other family and friends whom loved her dearly.
