Christine Mae Butler

CHRISTINE MAE BUTLER, born on Thursday, September 06, 1943, in Baltimore, Maryland to William and Ernestine Butler, Sr., passed away peacefully on January 20, 2026.

She graduated from Dunbar High School in 1961 and furthered her education at CCB, Coppin State and Computer Technology Training Center.

Christine worked most of her career as a Data Device Supervisor before retiring from the State of Maryland.

Christine was a member of the East Side Baptist Church and later joined Miracle Baptist Church in 1982, under the leadership of Pastor Frank A. Murphy. She served the Lord on many ministries such as Choir, Sunday School Director, Dance Ministry, Head of Missionary, Communications and various behind the scenes operations.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents William and Ernestine Butler, Sr., and sister Louella C. Butler.

She leaves to mourn brother William A. Butler Jr. and sister Barbara Evans. Christine is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, goddaughters, relatives, church family and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
