Listen to Obituary

Charon Marcella Douglas was born on September 4, 1970, to Mary Ann Jordan and the late John Douglas. She was called home after a lengthy illness.

Charon received her education in the Baltimore City Public School System. Charon accepted Christ at an early age.

Charon was very passionate about making sure others were happy. She was hilarious and kept everyone laughing. She was a very dedicated and dependable person at her various places of employment.

Charon loved Rhythm and Blues, we called her the “Powder/ Vaseline Girl” because she always had powder around her neck and vaseline on her lips. She was feisty, but she always had a smile.

Charon was preceded in death by her grandparents, Reabie Jordan, Joseph H. and Hagar Douglas Morton; her father, John Douglas; her Stepfather, Earl Ford; her siblings Wanda Jordan, Kevin Smith, Antoine Douglas, and Poncella Douglas.

Charon leaves to cherish her memories; her loving mother, Mary Ann Ford; two sisters, Michelle and Valerie Black; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces, great great nephews, cousins and friends.
