Charles E. Mobley Jr. son of the late Charles E. Mobley Sr. and

Dolores L. Cole-Brown was born on February 6, 1950 in Baltimore, Maryland.

He departed this life on June 7, 2017. Preceding him in death his daughter Ms.

Carissima M. Mobley on May 24, 2017.

He received his education through Baltimore City Public school system

graduating from Northern High School in 1968 where he was well-known for

playing football. After graduating from High School, he joined the U. S. Army

where he later received an Honorable discharge. He continued his education

attending Baltimore City Community College. Charles worked for Federal

Highway Administration retiring after 25 years of service. During this time he

met and married his wife of 41 years Mrs. Rebecca R. Mobley.

As a youth Charles along with his family joined St. Francis Xavier Church

where he attended for many years. He enjoyed spending time with family and

friends laughing, making jokes and talking slick and had a Bop (walk) that was

to die for.

His life will forever be cherished by his wife Mrs. Rebecca Mobley; two

daughters, Ms. Malissa Vice-Stanley, Mrs. Charlice Thompson (Larry

Thompson Jr.); one son, Mr. Charles Mobley III; four Sisters whom he loved

dearly, Mrs. Clarice Black (Clifton Black ), Ms. Charlene Mobley, Ms.

Charlene "Shelly" Mobley, and Ms. Cleopatra Mobley; mother in-law, Ms.

Inetha Turner; five sisters in-law; ten grandchildren, Maurice Smith Jr,

Marlon Smith Sr, Sherrell Brown, Sharron Brown, Eboni Collins, Larry

Thompson III, Lamar Thompson, Layla Thompson, Charles E. Mobley IV, and

Kalum Mobley; ten great grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces,

nephews and cousins.
