Charles Dantzler Jr.

CHARLES DANTZLER JR. entered this world on June 14th, 1964 into the union of the late Charles Dantzler in Baltimore, Maryland. On April 12th, 2021, God spoke to his son and said it was time to come home. Everything was prepared, loved ones were waiting to welcome him into the "Big Mansion" in the "Blue Skies".

"Jr. or Bootcut" as he was affectionately called, was a family man who loved everyone. He would always express the love he had for his family and would do absolutely anything you asked of him. Charles touched the heart and souls of everyone he encountered. His smile and laugh would light up the entire room. Charles was the muscle of the family and such a role model to his brothers, that when he played basketball in his early years, his jersey number was 12. When his brothers were able to play, they all wore the same number, just like their "Big Brother".

Charles received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System. He graduated from Francis M. Wood High School in 1984, where he completed a trade program in Carpentry. Soon after graduating, he was employed at Black and Decker, Turner Roof Company and for many years he was employed by J and R Roofing. Jr. was a Jack of all Trades. He could do it all.

Jr. accepted Christ in his life and was baptized at an early age. He would frequently visit Hallelujah Baptist Church with his family and would do pop up visit to surprise his mom during worship.

In his leisure time, Charles loved playing pool, spending time with family and fiends, putting together cook-outs at the park with the fellas, dancing, cracking jokes and just having a great time. Jr. was absolutely fun to be around and would keep you laughing.

Preceding him in death was his father, Charles Dantzler, Sr., mother and step father, Catherine and George Wheele, niece, Dymond Dantzler and great niece, Shanizya Taft. Charles, Jr. "Bootcut" leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Charles Dantzler III, Kevin Dantzler (Wendy Dantzler), Ciera Goodin, Brittany Dantzler, Steven Brandon, Delron Dantzler, two sisters, Lorraine Dantzler (Jasper Pryor), Charlene Lesane (Robert Lesane), four brothers, Anthony Dantzler, Darnell Dantzler (Josie Dantzler), Darry Dantzler, Terrell Dantzler (Denika Dantzler), fourteen grandchildren, a special cousin, Stephanie Ward and host of other relatives and friends.
