Charles J. Johnson V

CJ was born on Thursday, April 4, 2002 at 3:56pm at Maryland General Hospital to Alicia Briggs and Charles Johnson IV in Baltimore, MD. Charles was called home November 25, 2023. He departed suddenly along with his fiance Eniyah Smith who he loved dearly.

CJ attended Carver Vocational High for two years and graduated from Renaissance Academy in 2022 because he was determined to make his mother proud. Charles planed to began barber school December 6, 2023 and open a barbershop and bring on his cousin Qa'mauri Neville.

CJ was a very loving and laid back guy. Always smiling. He was very generous and made sure everyone around him was taken care of, especially Chloe, his daughter. CJ lived to make sure his mother needed for nothing and was always happy. If she wasn't happy nothing was right for him. He always made sure he corrected his wrongs when it came to her. He loved her.

CJ was the best big brother you could ask for. He always took care of and protected his siblings and anyone else he loved. He loved to spend time, go on outings and play video games with his favorite cousin, Desayles Sampson who he loved dearly and protected.

CJ was a thinker. He always had a good mind. Especially when it came to making money. That's how he got the nickname C-Money. When CJ had his mind set on something that's just what it was. No one could do anything to change his mind. He also loved learning new things. Most of all he loved his daughter. He always made sure she needed for nothing. She was his pride and joy.

CJ was loved by many. He was caring and affectionate. He may have never said much when spoken to but you better believe he was listening. He was always more of a listener than a speaker.

CJ leaves to mourn, mother, Alicia Briggs; step-father, Rory Briggs; father, Charles Johnson IV; daughter, Chloe Johnson; siblings, Caliel Johnson, Ka'ron Dorsey, Cianno Johnson, Knowledge Briggs, Rylee Briggs, Cartel Johnson, Conner Johnson, Dezire Briggs, Jaylan Carlton and Jordan Singleton; great grandmothers, Ruth Johnson and Vera Green; grandmothers, Wanda Bonds and Wanda Cutchember; grandfathers, Charles Johnson III and Nathaniel Lawerence; aunts, Angela Green, Lunden Harrison and Asia Demind; uncle, Cory Michie; best friends, Camron Dutton and Khalil Green and a host of great aunts, cousins and friends; CJ wsas proceeded in death by his fiance, Eniyah Smith; great grandmother, Loretta Cutchember; great grandfathers, Alan Green, Charles Johnson II and Charles Cutchember.
