Charles J. Curbeam

Charles J. Curbeam (Charlie) was born April 29, 1955 to Tiny M. Curbeam and the late Green B. Curbeam. He departed this life on Friday, October 28, 2016 after a lengthy illness.

Charlie was a member of the New Pilgrim Baptist Church and later joined the Greater Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church.

He graduated in 1974 from Fairmount hill High School in Baltimore, Maryland. After graduation he was employed at Baltimore City Hospital (Bayview).

He enjoyed football and all sports. He loved spending time with his family and friends, including a devoted and special friend “Rinny”. He also loved outside activities.

Son Charles L. Curbeam preceded him in death.

Charlie leaves to cherish with love, his daughter, Shareka Curbeam; mother, Tiny M. Curbeam; three grandchildren, Rayshawn Curbeam, Reginald Ransom and Shaelah Mitchell; one great-grandson, Rari Curbeam; three sisters, Elizabeth Feaster (McArthur) of Chester, South Carolina, Shirley A. Curbeam and Sarah Curbeam Jones (Thomas) of Baltimore, Maryland; three brothers, Willie Curbeam (Saundra); Green B. (Don) Curbeam; and Sam (Sambo) Curbeam all of Baltimore Maryland; two uncles James Curbeam and Joe Curbeam; five aunts, Tommie lee Jones; Rebecca Ray(Robert); Beatrice Curbeam (Joe) of Maryland, Williamae Anderson (Johnny) of West Virginia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
