Catherine Hill

Catherine Hill born January 4,1948 to the late Marshall Davis and Virgie Allen in Emporia, VA. She was called home to the Lord on June 19, 2021.

She was educated in the Greensville County Public Schools System.

Catherine relocated to Baltimore, Md in 1967 to further her career, where she met and married Robert Jones Sr. She was employed at Long Green Nursing home working as a dietary aide and cook. Catherine was known for her good old cooking.

Years later after separating, she married Thomas Hill in 2008.

Catherine loved to cook and spend time with her family especially her grandkids.

She also devoted her time and energy as a Deaconess at Pleasant Hope Baptist Church. Her charm and smile enlightened any given moment.

Catherine spent her recent few remaining years in the company of her daughter- in- law Lea.

Preceding her in death was one sister, Dorothy Mays and brother Bobby Davis.

She is survived by her husband Thomas Hill,; son, Robert Jones Jr.; daughter- in- law, Lea Jones; three grandchildren, Shaneka Hall, Racquel Jones, Robert Jones III; six great grandchildren, Mazira, Mario, Taylor, Karter, Jasan, Aniya; and one great great granddaughter, Ziere. Aside from her host of family and friends, she is survived by longtime best friends Karen and Ms. Lula.
