CAROLYN DOLES, loving daughter of the late James Ernest Scott and Christine Doles was born on August 19, 1959 was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, transitioned on January 10, 2026.
Carolyn was educated through the Baltimore City Public School System and lived a life filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments that will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
Carolyn gave her life to Christ and was a member of United Baptist Church.
Carolyn truly enjoyed the simple pleasures of life and was known for her love of shopping, catching the train with Kareem, going to the flea market, and sitting peacefully on her porch. She also loved getting her nails and eyelashes done, eating crabs, and spending quality time with family and friends. Her style, and personality made her presence one that could never be overlooked, and her love was felt deeply by those closest to her.
A hardworking and devoted woman, she was employed at various hospitals and nursing home facilities, including Johns Hopkins, Good Samaritan, and Future Care. Carolyn’s dedication, compassion, and giving spirit were reflected not only in her career but in the way she loved and supported those around her.
Carolyn leaves to cherish her five children, Octavia, Larry, Hyikeen, Kadeem, and Kareem; five grandchildren, Keyon, Casjuan, Kyree, Khaiyan, and Carsen; two greatgrandchildren, Kaliah and Khloe; son-in-law, Bassir; daughters-in-laws Kiara, Sade and Mykell. She is also survived by her sisters, Joyce, Karen, Michelle, Yvette, Rhonda, and Officiant Scripture Readings Le’Tanga Myers Prayer Hymn “Pass Me Not O Gentle Savior” Eric Jones Words of Comfort 2 mins Cheryl; brother, James; two brother-in-laws Kirk and John; one uncle, Wiley, and her aunts, Nancy, Gertrude, and Ellen, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends who love her dearly.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, James Ernest Scott and Christine Doles, her siblings Lynetta, Jacqueline, Leonard, Raynor, and Ernest, as well as her uncle Hezekiah, her aunts Lavinia, Agnes, and Lorraine. Though she is no longer with us physically, Carolyn’s spirit, love, and memories will live on forever in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her
