In everything there is a season. It began on June 28, 1946 when Carlita Rosie Colvin (Nee Stewart) was the only child born to Emma Jefferson & John Williams. This season ended on August 14, 2022 when God called His child home.

Carlita lived in east Baltimore all of her life where she had many friends. She loved living with her Grandparents The late Mr. & Mrs. James Stewart. Carlita loved her Grandmother Mrs. Margaret Stewart dearly.

Carlita attended the Baltimore City Public Schools, finishing at Dunbar High School . She also worked at City Hospital (Now Bayview Hospital) before going to work for the City of Baltimore. Carlita was a clerk in the payroll department until she retired.

Carlita met and married Melvin Colvin a friend she met at the bowling alley. They were together for 39 years. Carlita liked to read, go bowling, she liked to sew and travel and she had many friends. She liked the RAVENS.

She leaves to mourn her devoted husband Melvin D. Colvin; son, Quentin Adams (Junelle); daughter, Erynn Colvin; grandson, Quentin Adams II; granddaughter, Kira Adams and her great grandson Quentin Adams III. Aunts, uncles other family & friends and a devoted caregiver LaSheena Pindell.
