On Monday, October 17, 2022, CARL VINCENT BYERS, affectionately known as "Little Doc" or Doc", departed this life. Carl was born on January 10, 1963 to the late Thomas M. Byers and Lucille Byers.
Carl received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System and attended Baltimore City Community College. His gift for math led him to pursue a major in Accounting, where he also met his true love, Jacquetta L. Alston, who preceded him in death.
Carl was a kind-hearted, gentle person, who truly embraced being the best father, brother, uncle, friend and "Pop Pop" his family could ask for. He loved his family and would do anything for them, especially his Mom. Carl unselfishly and humberley became her full time caretaker and she lovingly referred to him as "Baby Boy".
Carl enjoyed watching sports and had a fondness for wrestling and cheering for our beloved Ravens. Doc was an amazing cook and enjoyed cooking his famous soul food for his family, who enjoyed eating it just as much. Carl will truly be missed for his respectful manner and infectious laugh.
Carl leaves to cherish his memory three daughters, JaCarla Byers (son-in-law James Dixon), Tarshia Byers (son-in-law, Christopher Harris), and LaShay Byers; two brothers, Thomas Byers Jr. (sister-in-law, Sarima Byers) and Kevin T. Byers (sister-in-law, Wanda Byers); two sisters, Lizzie Estelle Dickey (brother-in-law, Fred Dickey) and Evaline Byers; four grandchildren, Jabria Lewis, Kamirah Byers, Tybray Jackson, Christopher "CJ" Harris and a host of family and friends.
