Brian M. Augins Sr.

BRIAN MAURICE AUGINS, SR., son of Vernon and Elna Augins was born January 27, 1963 in Baltimore Maryland. He departed this life on June 1, 2018.

Brian received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System. As a teenager, he began working with Olgesby Movers which transitioned to Dutton Movers. In his later years. he was employed with the City of Baltimore Department of Transportation and Shakespeare House.

He was known to have many talents such as, sewing, ironing and he was handy with electricity. He enjoyed watching westerns and creating photo collages of his family and friends. Brian was known by many and frequently called "B" by his east Baltimore friends and associates. Brian was a kind and gentle person who loved spending time with family and friends. He was committed to his mother and visted her daily to make sure her needs were met. He also enjoyed spending quality time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by: his maternal grandmother, Marie Brown-Bacon; his son, Brian Maurice Augins,Jr.; his maternal aunt, Diane Brown; and his cousin, Kimberly Gordon.

Brian leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Elna Augins; his father, Vernon Augins (Regina); children, Tyra, Delaka, Brittany, Tavon and Christian; siblings, Darrell, Cheryl (Donald), Tonya, Yvonne, Lashawn and Tosha; fifteen grandchildren; paternal grandmother, Marguerite Gray; two uncles, two aunts, two great-aunts, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; a devoted partner, Wanda Brown; and two lifetime friends, Russell and Andre.
