Brandon L. Smith

BRANDON LEE SMITH was born June 5th, 1994 in Dayton, Ohio to Faith Denise Smith and Kenneth Lee Cox. He unexpectedly parted this life on August 18th 2015. Brandon started his education in Newport News, Virginia, where he was also baptized at the age of 8 years old into The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints. He journeyed on to Baltimore, Maryland where he continued his education and planted his roots. Brandon excelled in many activities including being a star athlete in football, basketball and karate, as well as having many hobbies including rapping and dancing.

Also known as 'Bryce', Brandon always brought life and entertainment to everyone and every place around him. He always wanted everyone to be comfortable and happy. Being a friend of Brandon meant you had a loyal friend for life. Being an amazing family man who always put family first, the highlight of Brandon's life was the birth of his handsome son, Tyler Smith on October 25th , 2014 with Taylor Patton. He devoted his time and many efforts to provide and be involved in his son's life as much as he could.

Left to cherish his memory, his only son Tyler Smith; his mother, Faith Smith; Father, Kenneth Cox; godfather, Andrew Lee Gary; sisters, Natyia Smith, Karlesha Smith, Shalisha Cox and Veronica Cox; his brothers, Bryan Collins Cox, Kenneth Cox Jr., Anthony Collins Cox, and Kazan Cox; grandmothers, Cynthia Durham, May Cox; godmother, Linda Robinson; his aunts, Verna Smith, Paulette Williamson, Gwen Durham, Theresa Smith, Belinda Cox; uncles, Robert Durham and Rodney Williamson; nieces and nephews, Kalil, Kailah, Kaleb, Lazerion as well as a host of other relatives and friends that meant the world to him.
