Beverly Moore, beloved matriarch, mother sister, devoted grandmother, and cherished friend, was born March 16, 1951, in Baltimore, Maryland, The daughter of the late William Moore & Doris Harris. She departed this life after a 6-year illness on Thursday, May 23, 2024.
Beverly received her education through the Baltimore City School system. It was here that she laid the foundation for a life dedicated to service and compassion. After completing her education, Beverly found fulfillment in serving others, particularly children, during her remarkable twenty-year tenure as a Baltimore City school Bus Aide. Her life was a testament to love, joy, and devotion.
In the early 1990s, Beverly devoted her life to the Lord, finding guidance in her faith. In 2016, she became a cherished member of the New Life Evangelical Church community, where her steadfast devotion to God was evident to all who knew her.
Beverly's greatest joy was her family. Her every thought and action revolved around her beloved grandchildren, whom she adored with all her heart. As the matriarch of the Moore family, Beverly was a beacon of love and strength. Her legacy of love lives on through the family she created. She raised her first grandchild with the same love and care as she did her own children, embodying the essence of a true keeper of loved ones.
Beverly enjoyed dancing, music, and cooking. She was a gentle hand and had a firm demeanor, she ruled her kitchen with precision. She loved to shop and had a purse collection that slayed. If you needed a bag you knew where to go.
Beverly will be missed dearly by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her laughter would light up a room, and her kind heart touched the lives of so many. She was preceded in death by her parents, two siblings, Ronald, and Doreen; and a nephew, Kevin. Though she may no longer be with us in body, her spirit lives on in the cherished memories she leaves behind.
