Beverly Y. Davis

BEVERLY YVETTE HARRIS DAVIS was born on March 2, 1957 and was the child born to the late Cleopatra Cannon and raised by the late James Cannon. She was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System. She graduated from Paul Lawrence Dunbar High School in 1976. Beverly later attended a 2 year program at the CCBC Job Corp and graduated the program with a certificate in Culinary Arts. While attending the job corp, she met her future husband, Earnest Fitzgerald Davis. Earnest and Beverly were married on November 20, 1980. Shortly after marriage, Beverly and Earnest welcomed the birth of 3 sons, Earnest P. Davis, Thomas E. Davis and Alex V. Davis Earnest and Beverly were married until his passing in 2002.

Throughout her life, Beverly loved to work with children and was a well known caretaker of many of her nieces, nephews and extended family. Beverly was very active in her church, Highway Christian Church and could frequently be seen outside of service teaching Sunday School and at many of the other church events.

Beverly was preceded in death by her mother, father, brother, Wayne Harris, brother, Milton Harris and sister, Wanda Cannon. To mourn her loss, she leaves behind a sister, Lisa Harris, her son, Earnest and his wife, Dineica, her son Thomas and his wife Fannie and her son Alex. Also to mourn her loss, she leaves four grandsons, seven nieces, six nephews and a host of other family and friends.
