Bertina Jones Poole

Bertina Jones Poole, daughter of Mary E Jones and Morris Jones was born in Baltimore, MD at John Hopkins Bayview Hospital On January 24, 1959. On Saturday February 20 th she was suddenly called home after battling illness.

Bertina received her education from Baltimore City Public Schools and graduated from Lake Clifton High School in 1976. Bertina continued her education at Coppin State University, there she earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration. Last she began her career early at Zurich Insurance Group where she worked for 20 years. After working for Zurich she worked many other jobs over the years and ended her career at Vision Health Center before becoming ill.

Bertina truly enjoyed spending time with family and friends having a good time. She had a bright beautiful smile that would brighten up any room! She was a huge Ravens Fan.

In 1996, Bertina met the love of her life Tyrone Poole and later married in 2004 the two conceived two children together.

Bertina is largely known for her kind and genuine heart and willingness to always help others, especially her family. She will truly be missed.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her loving husband of 17 years Tyrone Poole; children, Brandon, Briane ,Tyrone, Tarsh and Sharron;  Parents, Mary Jones and Morris Jones; stepparents, John Arrington and Sandra Jones; mother in-law, Elaine Poole; grandchildren, Brandon Jr, Tybria, Tysean, Briyelle, Brailynn and Kash; siblings, Kevin, Terry, Al, Monica and Greta; close friends, and a host of other special family and friends.
