Bernice Saunders

BERNICE EVELYN SAUNDERS was born in Atlanta, Georgia on May 12, 1929, she was the fifth child to the late Maude and Lester Perry. Bernice had two sisters and two brothers that preceded her in death, Florine Brady, Charles Perry, William Perry and Mary Perry. Bernice was married to the late Haraed Saunders for twenty years. She was called home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 23, 2019.

Bernice was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System and from there she went to Apex School of Beauty for hair. Bernice was also a Manager at numerous supermarkets and was loved by everyone she met.

Bernice was also known as a great cook, which was passed on down to her family. Bernice was also known as a classy dressing lady and boy could she dress.

She leaves behind to celebrate her life: son, Bruce Wallington; daughter Brenda Horsey-Wallington; six grandchildren, Rochelle, Keya, Katrina, Calvin, Malik and Jamall; four great grandchildren, Antonio, Devin, Shawnkia and Keshawnna; two great great grandchildren, Amari and A'Von; also a very special nephew, Lester Perry and three great nieces.

Bernice's passing leaves an empty space in our hearts, which can never be filled, but the wonderful memories and strength of her love will help us carry on.
