Bernetta Wallace

Bernetta Wallace daughter of the late Pauline Carter and Earl Wallace, beloved granddaughter of the late Margaret Carter, was born on April 3, 1950 in Baltimore, Maryland. Bernetta gracefully departed this life on Saturday, July 18, 2020 after a lengthy illness surrounded by loved ones

Bernetta was educated in Baltimore City Public School System and graduated in 1968 from Venable High School

Bernetta had an affection for word find, coloring books, and putting together puzzles, if you asked if she wanted anything she would reply bring me some coloring pens or puzzles. She was an avid sports fan, with a love for the Ravens and Orioles. In her earlier years, Bernetta would go to the Civic Center to see her favorite wrestlers when they came to town and enjoyed watching them on TV.

Bernetta always had a big smile for loved ones and friends. Whenever she saw you, she would let anyone in ear shot know by calling your name and saying that is my brother, my aunt, my uncle, my cousin, or my friend.

Bernetta always understood the most important aspect of life from an early age, which was her faith and love of God. As a devoted catholic from St. Francis Catholic church, James & St. Johns, to St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Bernetta became even more devoted to her religion. She was a loving family member of her church, becoming a Eucharist Minister, belonged to the Sodality Club, and a member of the Knights of St. Peter Claver Ladies Auxiliary. Bernetta was truly amazing

Bernetta will forever be in our hearts and truly missed

Preceding her in death are her parents, Pauline and Earl, her brothers, Andre, William, and Hershel

Bernetta leaves to cherish her memories, Brother Josef (Deborah), niece Andrea, aunts: Dorothy, Ivon (Aunt Teeny), and Janice. Uncles: Robert and Atif (Uncle Bud - Gwen), devoted cousin Talmadge (Patrice) and a host of cousins, godchildren, other relatives, family and friends.
