Barbara A Boyd

Barbara A. Boyd, daughter of Jacqueline Bogier and the late James Norris, was born on December 28, 1968 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life on December 17, 2017 peacefully in her sleep. She received her education in the Baltimore City Public School System. At the age of eighteen, she began working and held numerous jobs throughout her lifetime. She was a lifelong member of New Religion Baptist Church. She married Garrett Boyd, Sr. at the age of eighteen and became the mother of six children; Marcus Evans, Garrett Boyd, Jr., Charles McGaney, Tazra McGaney, Angelia McGaney and Ladrian Price. Barbara was very socialable. She made friends and touched hearts wherever she went. She was also a soldier in motherhood. She was preceded in death by one son, Marcus Evans. She leaves to mourn her mother, Jackie; brother, Tony; three sons, Garrett, Charles, and Ladrian; two daughters, Tazra and Angie; five grandchildren, Jamartae, Ja'Leel, Tacorey, Corey, and Zariyah; boyfriend, Eyes; four uncles, Melvin, JJ, Harry and Bobby; one aunt, Jean; goddaughter, Poodie and a host of other relatives and friends.
