Artist E. Brown-Stewart

ARTIST ELANDA BROWN-STEWART a.k.a "Bookie" resident of Baltimore Maryland, received her wings to fly away to her heavenly home on Monday, March 6, 2017. Artist was born on August 14, 1970 to the late Paul A. Jones and Beverly A. Brown. She received Jesus Christ as her Lord and savior at an early age and knew God to be her everything. Artist received her education from  the Baltimore City Public School System. She was recognize for her numerous outstanding achievements and received many awards for her talents in dance and drama.

Over the years Artist gained a love for cooking that she inherited from her grandmothers. She utilized her cooking skills in many employment positions throughout the City of Baltimore. Because of her love for cooking, she took great pleasure in preparing meals and bringing the family together for special occasions especially her "just because" spontaneous parties. Also, during these times Artist would share her many humorous lifetime stories.

Artist was joined in marriage to her husband, Jerome J. Stewart, on February 4, 2014. It was God who connected their relationship and brought love in there relationship, along with their children.

Artist was known for her fiery personality and her amazing cooking skills. Artist was considered one of a kind, with an amazing heart. She had a truthful and sometimes sharp tongue. She took time to support her family by making a loving home, as well as caring for her grandmothers whom she loved dearly. Artist enjoyed giving advice and helping her community in any way possible and made it known through her demanding presence.

Artist leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband Jermone; children, Kevin (fiancée Shavon), Kierra, and Jerome; grandmother, Mary "Nanny" Molock; sisters, Ena and Donna; brother, Kevin; aunt, Barbara (Varant); uncle, Larry (Valerie); nieces, Cierra, Antoinette, Tykia, Tyray, Raykia, Anisah and Khyha; nephews, Kevin Jr., Tavon and Arcel, along with a host of family and friends.
