Annie L. Jackson

On Monday March 8, 2021 a dark cloud drifted Rosedale and ANNIE L. JACKSON went to rest.

Annie was born in Bainbridge, GA on November 1, 1927 to the late Alex and Minnie Roberts.

She confessed to Christ at an early age.

She married the late W.C. Jackson in 1949 and from this union 8 children were born.

After relocating to Baltimore in 1966, Annie became a nanny for several years, before becoming employed with Good Samaritan Hospital as a dietary aide. Annie worked at Good Sam for 30 plus years before retiring in the early 90’s.

Annie love the Lord, and had so much faith! She loved selling Avon, doing word puzzles, going to swim aerobics, cooking, spending time with loved ones and singing on the choir at St. Paul Baptist Church, where she was a member since the 70s.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings and her daughter Minnie and son Kenny.

Annie leaves to cherish her memory: four daughters, Eleanor Bowden, Wylla Jackson, Brenda Jackson and Elizabeth Simpson, son-in-law Melvin Simpson; three sons, Rakim Muhammad, Charlie Jackson, daughter-in-law (Linda Jackson), Benjamin Jackson, daughter-in-law, (Dorothy Jackson), son-in-law Theodore Hill, also a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren and other relatives.
