Ann Roberts, was born in Durham, North Carolina on May 21, 1919, as the oldest of three Ann was preceded in death by a twin sister and brother. She entered Heaven's gates on August 13, 2016.
Ann moved to New York and retired in Baltimore where she accepted Christ as her Savior with East Baltimore Baptist, where she served as a faithful member who truly loved the Lord. She received her Nursing degree from Long Island Jewish Hospital School of Nursing in New York. She devoted most of her time and energy as a caregiver to support self through school at a young age. She would continue to work as a private duty nurse in New York for more than 40 years. An admirable mother, Ann was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. Her family was her major focus and time spend with her many relatives brought for much happiness and comfort throughout her life. Ann developed a lifelong love of family and an appreciation for hard work. These values were evident in her life, especially the joy and dedication that she showed in coordinating so many family events and gatherings. She was will for her work at the Red Glove Restaurant where she once was a caretaker for Barbara Streisand and the Carpenters.
She is survived by her children; 3 sons, Chester Roberts, NC, Roosevelt Scott, MD, Jerome Glenn, NC, a daughter, Tito Haydel, NJ; 5 loving grandchildren: Anthony G. Haydel, Bryin R. Haydel, Bernard W. Scott, Eric E. Glenn, Christopher Roberts. 15 great-grandchildren: Ashensia Haydel, Anthony Haydel II, Ashley Haydel, Annette Haydel, Allen Haydel, Andre Haydel, Alexander Rivers, Shana Moore, Jacqueline Roberts, Donamen Glenn, Emilio E Glenn, Tiara Glenn, Amir Glenn, Joyce Brannon, Gregory Brannon and 8 great great-grandchildren.
