Anina Antoinette Brown, affectionately known as “Nina,” was the first-born daughter of the late Horace and Maxine Brown. She was born on February 27, 1961 in Baltimore, Maryland and peacefully departed this life on November 8, 2025.

Anina’s professional journey was one of remarkable devotion and achievement in law enforcement. She faithfully served in the Department of Public Safety at Bowie State
University, where she became a respected and beloved member of the campus community.
