January 20, 1952 – February 18, 2026
Angela M. Jones was born to the late Jesse (Jack) and Queen Robinson in Skippers, Va. She transitioned into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 18, 2026.
Angela was raised in a Christian home. Angela gave her life to Christ at an early age. She was a servant wherever God sent her.
The Lord used Angela as a songbird. Her voice would radiate all over the sanctuary without using a microphone. Angela and her three living siblings. Bernard, Anthony and Queenie, were known as the "Robinson Children Choir". where they sang at various churches. Angela was called to serve others. She demonstrated her service to others in various capacities, taking care of family members and friends. "Matthews 20:28. Just as the son of man did not come to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many". She attended Southern Baptist Church and the Cornerstone Baptist Church as a young person. Angela was noted for passion to learn about God's word in all forms.
Angela met and married the late George Jackson. Out of this union, one son, Victor Maurice Jackson, was born.
She attended Powell School in Skippers, VA, and continued her education at the Carver Vocational Technical High School in Baltimore, MD. Angela completed various certifications to include Geriatric Nursing Assistant and Certified Medication Technician. She worked as a geriatric nursing assistant at several nursing homes and provided private duty in Baltimore, Maryland.
Her love for the community and being outside was evident. Druid Hill Park was her favorite place to be. She would gather the children in the neighborhood and play softball during the spring and summer. One year, Angela decided to dabble in politics. She supported a politician, Lalit Gadia, who ran for local councilman in her community. She passed out flyers, knocking on doors in the neighborhood, supporting local fundraisers and community cookouts.
She loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and they spent countless moments together. Her son Victor loved his mother with endless love and supported her in everything. Her daughter Andrea M. Davis preceded her in death.
Her hobbies consisted of roller skating at the Coliseum and Painter Mills, cooking (the best spaghetti ever), community engagements and singing. One of her favorite songs was "Mr. Bogangle". She danced to this song in a talent show. Her love for music include: Motown, The Temptations, O'jays, Issac Hayes, Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes. One of her favorite songs was "Me and Mrs. Jones" by Billy Paul.
She leaves to cherish; her son, Victor M. Jackson; her grandchildren; Latisha Jackson, Kyle Davon Jackson, Andre Davis and Dion Davis; two great-grandchildren. Darryl Thames and Winter Olowolafe; her siblings, Dallas McCoy Robinson, Robert Bernard Robinson, Anthony Byron (Sonjia) Robinson and Queen E. Stewart; three aunts, Melcine Hall, Shirley Lewis and Racheal Spencer, cousins Cheniel and Gregory; and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.
