ANDREW W. MARTIN, affectionately known as "Man" departed this life on May 24, 2026, at the age of 64. Born on November 27, 1961, in Baltimore, Maryland. Andrew was the beloved son of Andrew and Vernell Martin. Throughout his life, he was known for his humor, memorable presence, and the connections he built with family, friends and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Andrew attended The William S. Baer School, and graduated from Carroll Park High School. If you knew "Man", you knew that he LOVED The Baltimore Ravens, The Orioles, Karate Movies, and a Die-hard BRUCE LEE fan! He also had a great love for his family and family gatherings.

Andrew's life was a true testament to resilience! After suffering a stroke in 2000, he was confined to a wheelchair and no longer able to work. However, this did not hinder him from creating memorable moments with his loved ones and friends. Andrew was a member at Greater Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church, where he was baptized by Rev Dr. Reginald Thomas on March 26, 2017. 

Andrew was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Martin; his mother, Vernell Martin; brother, Lavell Martin; nephew, Antione Crowder and best friend Tom Carruth.

Remaining to cherish Andrew's memories are: one son, Romell Jenkins, three sisters, Barbara Martin, Joyce Lawson and Jennifer Johnson; one brother, Dale Martin; three aunts, Annie Mae Clark, Cora Green, and Eleanor Alexander, four nephews, Bobby, Jamar (Shiray), Brendan and Dale Jr; four nieces, Shannelle (Nichlas), Tiara (Andre), Lakiesha and Jania (Steven); twenty-two, grand-nieces and nephews; six, great nieces and nephews and host of loving family, devoted friends and countless others whose lives were enriched by knowing him.
