Andrea J. Matthews

ANDREA JOANNE MATTHEWS, daughter of Andre Matthews and the late Elvona Spriggs was born on September 25, 1980. She was returned to our heavenly father on July 20, 2020.

Drea, as she was most known as, was raised in Baltimore, Maryland and received her education in the Baltimore City Public School System. As an adult, she was employed at several businesses in and around Baltimore.

To know Drea was to LOVE her, even if you didn't want to be the time. Drea was a loving person. She loved her family unconditionally and would be there in a heartbeat if she was needed or NOT. She had a special kind of love for children and it didn't matter if they were family or a friend of a friend, she made sure the kids felt loved. She gave that same affection to her own children and grandchildren, "King" and "Queen" they were the apples of her eye.

Drea loved spending time with those she loved most. It didn't matter if it was playing cards, hanging round the way with the homies, or singing her favorite Mary songs out loud! That wes Drea!!!

Drea leaves to cherish her memory: her father Andre; her children, DeAsia and Marcus; two grandchildren, Braylen and Milani; two grandmothers, Gloria and Bernice; one brother, Andre; two sisters, Wenona and Laetitica (Eric); two nephews, Kenneth 3rd and Justin; six nieces, Shakera, Denera, Quiandre, Keontay, Cin-Cere and Blessing; two aunts, Wanda and Pamela; three uncles, Deveral, Sherman and Michael; also an abundance of close cousins, special friends and extended families.
