During COVID she and her daughter Bootsy created thousands of masks for front line workers and kids in the pediatric unit. Of her many talents, her daughters along with their friends were taught to knit and crochet. Her passion for gardening was evident in the landscapes she cultivated throughout Baltimore. Being a phenomenal cook, her family loved her Spanish chicken and rice, candied yams and the best potato salad in town.
A devoted Christian, Andrea drew strength from her faith. Her favorite scripture, "Look to the hills from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth". This Bible verse served as a guiding light throughout her life.
