Andre S. Roberts

Andre' Steven Roberts was born on August 13, 1957 to Fannie Mae and the late Berley Roberts Sr. He was the second youngest of seven siblings; Pamela English and Sharon Martin preceded him in death. He departed this life suddenly on June 6, 2018.

Andre' attended the public schools of Baltimore Maryland, graduating from Southern High School. He accepted Christ as his personal Savior at an early age at The First Baptist Church in Cherry Hill. He was employed by General Electric as a machine operator and later furthered his career at Locke Insulators. He later married Lorna Hubbard, his childhood sweetheart, and from this union one beautiful baby girl was born, Lauren Roberts.

Andre' enjoyed music, cooking on the grill, family outings and singing. He later met and married Catherine Walker on June 22, 2002. Both Andre' and Catherine enjoyed that same lifestyle and each other. They enjoyed watching old western movies and Anthony Bourdain and talking about their Savior.

He leaves sweet memories to: his loving wife, Catherine; daughter, Lauren; granddaughter, Makayla; his mother, Fannie; three sisters, Barbara McGee, Shelia Lewis (Marvin IV), Diann Cupid (Cecil Sr.); one brother, Berley Jr.; two brothers-in-law, Terry Neely and Ronnie Neely; one sister-in-law, Eunice Neely; one step-daughter, Leslie Boy; and a host of other relatives and friends.
