Anastasia M. Gaines

ANASTASIA GAINES A.K.A. ANN by everyone was born and raised in Trinidad on April 15th, 1960 and gained her wings on December 26th, 2024 at her home in Baltimore MD. which she shared with her loving husband. She was the daughter of Theophilus and Gwendolyn Flavanny Spencer (deceased).

She graduated from Point Fortin Senior Secondary High School and moved to the U.S. in 1988.

She worked at Charlestown Retirement facility and later met George where the 2 dated for a year until they got married in 1990 and have been married for 34 years.

"Ann" was always on the go and kept herself busy, (that is just how she liked it). However, shortly after 2006 Ann became ill and her condition became somewhat irreversible. So, for the remaining of her life with us, George (her husband) dedicated his life to taking care of his wife ensuring that all her days were as memorable as the first time they met, full of laughter, love, hope, patience and kindness.

Anastasia will be lovingly remembered as the daughter of: Theophilus and Gwendolyn Flavanny Spencer (deceased); wife of, George Gaines; mother of, Rene Corbie-Preddie, Davy Brown, Dianne Charles, Leslieann Charles-McNeil & Anthony Gaines "Children from her marriage", Deborah and "George Jr. (dec)"; sister of, Kenrick Flavanny & Cecil Spencer; mother-in-law of, Christpher Preddie and Jeffery Mcneil; grandmother of 18;  great grandmother of 5; aunt, niece, cousin and friend of many others.
