It is with deep, and heavy sadness that we announce the death of ALFONSO ADOLPHUS HUSBAND, son of the late St. Clair and Veta Husband.
Alfonso was born on November 7, 1943 in Panama City, of the Republic of Panama. He departed this life on June 15, 2016 sadly after a lengthy illness in the arms of his loving wife Gloria.

Al as he was lovingly known married Gloria Maria Foster on April 15, 1967. From this union they have two children Vincent Husband and Renee Watkins. In 1969, he moved to the United States to provide a better life for his family. Al worked for various insurance companies until he acquired his Maryland CDL.
Thereafter for 20 years, he worked as an Owner-Operator of his own trucking business until he retired. Filled with energy, he later became a Trainer for J.B. Hunt and Rite Aid Operations.

He was vibrant during his life and Alfonso joined the Bible Way Missionary Baptist Church on June 13, 1989. He served as a choir member and the Vice Chair of the Trustee Board for many years. Al loved and served the Lord. He knew where his eternal resting place would be in Heaven.

He is survived and leaves to cherish his memories by his loving wife Gloria Husband; his son, Vincent Husband; daughter, Renee Watkins, and devoted son-in-law, Troy Watkins; grandchildren, Darrian Watkins,Jordan Watkins and Kaiya Husband; his sisters, Catalina Stewart, Loretta Husband, Gloria Wertz, Pauline Barnett; his brother, Victor Husband and Ricardo Jordan preceding him in death; his brother-in-laws, Rogelio Griffith, John Stewart and Alvin Barnett, devoted friend Norman Wiley; and a host of relatives and friends.
