WALTER LOUISE HAMPTON, was born October 16, 1946 to the late Melton Hampton Sr. and Alease Hampton. He suddenly departed this life on October 4.
Walter affectionately called "Skip" was educated in Baltimore City Public Schools. He was later drafted to the Army and served in the Vietnam War for four years. After returning to the states, Skip worked for Baltimore City Department of Public Works where he retired after 20 years. He was a lifelong member of St. Francis Xavier Church.
Walter made numerous friends everywhere he would go. He was a true friend and a devoted family man. He will truly be missed by everyone who knew him.
He leaves to cherish his memories; five children, three son-in-laws, Shirley (Darryl), Teresa (Troy), Shawntraylor (Cory), Walter and Jacqueline; three brothers, Melton Jr., James, and Michael; two brothers Clarence and Jerome who preceded him in death; a sister, Alols and a sister, Shirley who preceded him in death, nineteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren; a close friend, Leroy McCown and a host of family, friends and other loed ones.,
