- About Us
VETRICE LAVERNE GREEN, daughter of the late Lula Louise Cohens Green and William Bibbians was born on October 29, 1957 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life after a brief illness.
Vetrice also known as "Lil Mama" and "Hattie Smoke Stack" received her education in the Baltimore City Public School System. In her early years she met Teddy Chester and from that union they had two children Tanya and Malick. She later began working doing private duty. Lil Mama was a fun and caring person who enjoyed cooking and cleaning. She loved showing her hospitality to her Kirkwood family. She was known as being a woman with no cut cards but with many choice words. If she was thinking it, she said it.
Lil Mama was most happy being in the comfort of her own home listening to her music, especially Mary J. Blige. The one thing that she did not play about was her children and definitely not her son Dell.
Preceding her in death was her daughter, Qwanisha Montgomery, brother Alfred "Hog" Green, sister Donna Green, uncle Julius "Pippy" Thomas.
Vetrice leave to cherish her memory: her children Tanya Chester and Malick Green, one sister Denise Green Comeaux (Stacey); two brothers Curtis "Sputnik" Green (April) and Kevin Bibbians, six granddaughters, Taniqua, Jikira, Shyrell, Shytira, Ivy and Kashi; three great grandchildren, Quentin lll, Devante Jr. and Dakhota; one aunt Annette Thomas; one uncle Andre Thomas as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
