Welcome to the memorial page for

Theresa Lewis

April 24, 1962 ~ May 3, 2017 (age 55) 55 Years Old

Theresa Lewis, daughter of the late William and Margie Lewis was born

April 24, 1962 in Madison, Virginia.

She received her education in the Baltimore City Public School System.

In 2003 she was employed by Johns Hopkins University School of

Medicine.

Theresa was known to many as “Poochie Momma” and she always kept a

smile on her face. She was a person that believed in forgiveness and

would always encourage everyone around her to do the same.

Theresa was saved and loved to say “God Got Me” every time she would

receive bad news about her illness. Rest assured she is now walking with

“The King”.

Theresa had a huge heart, you could always depend on her for whatever

it was you needed. You may have gotten cursed out in the process but

that just meant she loved you and had your back.

Her straight forward and happy go lucky personality is the reason so

many people loved and respected her.

The bond she had with her children and grandchildren was

extraordinary. She absolutely adored them as they did her.

To know Theresa is to know that it was three things she did not play

about which was her hair, her nails and her grandchildren. Especially her

grandchildren. She would have a fit when someone bothered her

grandbabies. Spending family time was very important to her. She loved

a great cookout and was always the first one on the dance floor.

Our beautiful angel was called home to dwell with THE KING on

May 3, 2017. She will be sincerely missed by all who knew and loved

her.

She was preceded in death by her brother David Smith.

She leaves behind her mother, Margie Lewis; her daughters, Tanya

Stokes, Lakia Lewis and Staneka Royster; her bonus sons, Gerrod Davis

and Chris Dagger Johnson, Sr.; her granddaughter, Labreya Johnson; her

grandsons, Tyrod, Tiyann Davis and Chris Johnson, Jr.; her sisters, Denise,

Penny, Brenda, Margaret and Geneva Lewis; her brothers, Hamilton,

Dennis, and George Lewis; her brother in-law, Ronald Caroll, seven

nieces, eight nephews, eleven great nephews, four great nieces, one

great great niece, a best friend, Teresa Johnson along with a host of

family and friends.
