RODNEY ARMES, was born the fourth child to the late Varnetta Bacon and Edward D. Armes on January 12, 1956. He departed this life on Saturday September 2, 2017.

Rodney attended Mergenthaler Vocational Technical High School and studied to be an auto mechanic. At the age of eighteen he decided to serve his country in the U.S. Army.

In 1992 Deborah Bell and Rodney E. Armes wed and one child was born.

Rodney loved cars (driving, fixing and disassembling). He also loved gardening and was proud of his membership in the neighborhood association for the Panway Community.  

Rodney was preceded in death by: his son, Edward Rodney Armes; his parents, Varnetta and Edward Armes; two sisters, Kathy and Joy Armes; sister-in-law Sandra; three brothers-in-law, James Bell, Clark Rorie and Michael Palmer.

Rodney was survived by: his wife, Deborah; two step-children, Lawrence and Shannon Russell; five grandchildren, three sisters, six nephews, two aunts, three brothers-in-law, three sisters-in-law, two aunts and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
