LARRY JEROME WALKER,SR. was born June 30, 1958 to the late Sylvester Walker and Fannie Mae Buckson. He departed this life, suddenly on September 20, 2018.
Larry was the youngest of seven siblings. He attended Baltimore City Public Schools. During his life he was employed with various companies, Johns Hopkins Hospital and Northrop Grumman just to name a few. Larry gave a true definition to "Handy Man"! If he was asked to paint he did it. He could fix just about anything from plumbing issues, fixing a tire on a bike, to gluing something back made of glass. It was very hard not to notice him a mile away for his statue stood tall at 6'5". Larry loved to dance! When the music played he would dance the night away! Big Larry, as he was known by many, loved to spend time with his family when he could. He could be found on many holidays and birthday celebrations, at his extended family's house eating as much as he wanted and even having enough to take with him. His visits were spontaneous and very welcomed. Larry became a member of the United House of Prayer for all people in 2015. On any given day he could be found reminiscing about the first love of his life, his mother who preceded him in death. Larry had one brother James Buckson and Aunt Nancy who also preceded him in death.
Larry leaves many memories to four children, Larry Walker Jr., Jennifer Williams, Sybil Walker and Maxwell Williams; three grandchildren, Omari, Emonee and Tristian; one brother, Alonzo Buckson; four sisters, Alberta Buckson, Ida Wilford, Viera Roundtree, Marcella Oglesby; two Aunts, Thelma and Carrie Buckson; the love of his life for more than thirty years, Janet Williams; his adopted family; Alberta Williams (Mom); two sisters, Aneater and Pamela Williams; three nephews, Michael, Malcolm and Patrick and his Lil Poodle dog "Baby" which he loved very much and a host of nieces, nephews and many, many friends.
