Larnell Mayo, affectionately known as “Pimp” to family and friends, was born November 6, 1959 in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Atheline and Willie Bryant. Larnell departed from his earthly home to be in the arms of the Lord on December 29, 2019.
Larnell was educated in the Baltimore City Public Schools. He later attended an apprenticeship program to become a Plumber, which he very much loved to do. Pimp enjoyed fishing, horse racing, watching old westerns, sports, dogs (especially his dogs) and Loved to raise Pigeons. One of his most favorite things to do was discuss what was happening on CNN with his twin brother, they could go on for days.
Larnell was married to Gwendolyn Mayo on March 14, 1997. He was such an easy going, loving and humble person. He was very generous and dedicated to his family, especially his son Myles. He could get along with anyone and usually always made friends wherever he went; Pimp loved to talk and debate and he always had to be right when it came to it. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon McNair, brothers Dennis and Barton Bryant.
His loving memory will be reflected in the thoughts and hearts of his wife, Gwendolyn Mayo; son, Myles Mayo; two step children, Sharron Howard and Tavone Waters; six brothers, Carnell his twin, Maurice, Willie, Kealose and Anthony; sister, Christina; five nieces, Knikia, Quatanja, Tiffany, Jasmine and Christine; four nephews, Allen, Terrance, Christopher and Dennis; one aunt, nine great nieces, four great nephews, one great great nephew, his mother-in-law Nancy Waters, father -in-law Clarence Waters, a very close friend Cornelius Smith Jr and many other relatives and friends.
