KIMBERLY SHANTELL MERRILL, was born December 13, 1987 to Lita Merrill-Stevenson and the late Salvador Langford, who served as her father figure from her early years to the time of his death. She was blessed to have two loving parents that helped to nurture and support her as she grew to become a remarkable woman and later to gain additional support from her step father Christopher Stevenson.
Kimberly received her education in the Baltimore City Public School System. During her high school years she was blessed with her first two children, her daughter, Jamiah and son Michael. She later was gifted with two additional children, her sons Noah and Riley. Her children and family were important to her. Kim was an amazing mother and was not often seen without her children by her side. Their lives marked some of the major accomplishments in her life. She was so proud to be their mother.
Kimberly was a student at Catonsville Community College where she was studying to become a nurse. While working to obtain this goal she served as a Nurse Tech caring for the sick and elderly. Her commitment and passion for serving others was obvious to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Kim had a great heart and would eagerly lend a helping hand when needed. She enjoyed singing and dancing and embracing the simple pleasures of life. Her smile and pleasant spirit will be missed.
She leaves to mourn her grandparents Linda Mickell, Augustine and Archer Sniff: her mother, Lita Merrill Stevenson and step father Christopher Stevenson: four children, Jamaih, Michael, Noah and Riley; four siblings, Nicholas, Kirsten, Devin and Shane; five uncles and five aunts; two godmothers, a special friend Joseph Hurt and a host of other family and friends.
