MR. DWIGHT DAVID GOINES, was born on January 21, 1957 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Carolyn and John Goines David, as he was called, departed this life on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Union Memorial Hospital, after a lengthy illness. David received his formal education through the Baltimore City Public School System. David had many jobs over the years, he started out working in retail, he worked at the diplomat shop and Siefs men’s clothing stores, just to name a few. David then went on to work for Baltimore Electronics and later worked as a home health care provider just before his illness. He was also a foster parent and opened his home to many troubled youth, until he could no longer do so, due to his ailing health. David was a strong man who knew and believed in GOD. He was taught early on how to trust and believe in GOD and he did. David loved life and his family, He fought a long and hard battle with his illness and he never lost his will to live; his siblings, his kids, niece Lexus and nephew Eric were there every step of the way. They would visit him in the hospital and nursing home. David loved to cook and invite everyone over to eat and during the holidays she was always excited about the family getting together and would be the first to y what he was bringing because he knew he was this great cook. He would get up on Saturday mornings, go to all the flea markets, Walmart (his favorite) and then call all his siblings to see if they wanted to go to breakfast (which was his favorite meal) he would eat breakfast day and night. David’s parent’s Carolyn and John Goines, three brothers, Clifford (Kippy), John (Big Twin) and Eric (Tommy) Goines; one sister, Denise Harris all preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Seanice Goines; two sons, Dwight, Jr. and Davon Goines; four sisters, Estelle Blandon (Otis Brandon), Erna (Loretta) Bundy, Vanessa, Sharon Goines and Wanda Brown (Brian Augins); four brothers, Johnathan and Kevin Goines (Valencia), Christopher Hawkins and Kenneth Ross; four grandchildren, Deadia, S’miyah, Malachi and Micah; two aunts Matte and Rose Goines; three best friends, Amos, Curtis and Malik Lori Goines.
