DONNELL AURICE BROCKINGTON, JR. son of Deonna Perry and Donnell Brockington Sr. was born on July 3, 1998 in Baltimore, Maryland. He transitioned from this life on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at 9:04 pm. Affectionately known as "Man-Man" and "Nell" to his family and friends, he accepted Christ at a very young age attending Saint Joseph Free Will Baptist Church. Donnell attended Aberdeen High School and later received his G.E.D. in 2018. Receiving his G.E.D. was one of his best accomplishments because he made his mother proud.
Growing up Man-Man enjoyed dancing, joking and being silly. He was a devoted son and brother. What he enjoyed the most was working his mother's nerves. Man-Man was an avid lover of sports during his young life. He joined the Mac Lewis Boxing Center at the age of 13, boxing for 2 years. He also played football for the Oldtown Gators accompanying his team to a championship. Man-Man was an attentive and loving father to his son Damari, whom he treasured and adored very much.
Man-Man was a "momma's boy." He thought the world of his mother, often heard saying,"Ma, you are the strongest person I know." He enjoyed one-on-one time with his mother so much that he would crawl into her bed and sleep next to her. He was not ashamed to present his love for his mother to his friends. Man-Man received certifications in CPR First-Aid, Forklift and the Strive Future Leaders Program. He was also a certified Guest Service Professional. Man-Man was the kind of young man that anyone would be proud to call son, grandson and friend.
He is proceeded in life by his stepfather, Corey Galltin; grandmother, Denise Battle; grandfather, Michael Perry; great grandmother, Ethel Morgan; aunt, Ebonee Baker; uncle, Anton Seller and two special brothers, "Poody Bear" and Nijuan.
