Beatrice M. Foster

BEATRICE MAY FELDER was born March 21, 1939 to the late Elder Annie Mac Felder and Quincy Felder. On October 5, 2018, God gave her wings to fly away to sit beside her rock.

On August 26, 1966, she married the late Leroy Foster. To that union six children were joined, Debby, Delroy, Yvette, Carlette, Marlo and Zachory.

BeBe or Momma as she was affectionately known was educated in the Baltimore City Public Schools. She also worked several jobs as a short order cook.

She has always had Christian experience. In the 1980's she joined the Apostle True Foundation Church in Jesus Christ under the leadership of the late Bishop Verlin Doughty. There she served on the Senior Usher Board. She sang with a group called the Camp Meeters, singing her version of "I Call Jesus My Rock." BeBe loved attending gospel programs. Her favorite group was the "Wings of Praise." Her last church she attended was Zion Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Marshall F. Prentice.

Her family was her life. Whenever there was a cook-out or birthday party, she was there. She is the missing link to our family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Foster; son, Delroy Foster and grandson, Michael Puiefoy.

She leaves to mourn three daughters, Debra Bailey. Yvette Foster and Carlette Foster; two sons, Marlo Foster an Zachory Foster; one daughter-in-law, Angela Foster; nineteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; one niece, Belinda (Doughty) White; one nephew, James Lee Doughty; an adopted son, Tony and a host of other relatives and friends.
