ARLENE CHRISTIAN, God's special gift to the late Andrew and Connie Christian, was born on march 1, 1933 in Goochland County, Virginia. She was educated in the county's public school system. Arlene received Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at an early age at Columbus Baptist Church where she was a faithful member. She raised her two beloved sons, Warren and James, there amongst a tight knit community of family and friends.
In her later years, Arlene relocated to Baltimore. Here she attended First Apostolic Church under the leadership of Bishop Cornelius Showell. She eventually joined her nephew, Pastor Robert Harris, at his church, Kingdom Love Age Ministry. Arlene loved the preached word and high praise and attended regularly until she was no longer able, due to illness. She always enjoyed watching various Christian broadcasts and reading the bible. her favorite verse was 2 Chronicles 7:14.
Arlene was a loving homemaker and extended a helping hand to family members and friends by babysitting, sharing meals and even providing lodging. She cared for both of her parents in their elder years as well.
She lives on in the hearts and memories of her sons, Warren and James (Bertha), grandchildren, Quentyn (Tiffanee) and Jamea, great-grandchildren, Quentyn, Quatia, Eva Mai (Allen), and Nareiya, great-great-grandchild, Nyla, brothers, Warren (Janed) and Eugene and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Preceding her in death were four brothers, Howard, Raymond, William and Wilton and three sisters, Bertha, Mary and Ollie.
