Alvin Stewart Jr. Obituary

Alvin Stewart Jr. aka (Big Al), loving son of the late Alvin Sr. and Mabel B. Stewart, was born September 12, 1951 in Caswell, North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his sister Zymeter Carter, and his brothers Rivers,  Bryant, Anthony, and Michael Stewart.

Big Al received his education at Baltimore City Public School System in Baltimore, Md. While attending High School he was on the basketball team. He had a love for basketball.

Big Al was known for his stylish dressing and was particular about the way he wanted things done.

Big Al was a caring, loving and kindhearted man who bought joy to all those lives he touched. He especially loved and adored his mother. Jerry Stewart, Derek Cherry and Richard Cherry Jr. had a special place in his heart. Also, Paul Franklin and his good friends Darryl and Vita Chesney.

While Big Al was at Caton Manor in Baltimore, Md, he would attend church sometimes with his friend Ms. Elaine.

He leaves to cherish his fond memories: siblings, Brenda F. Smith, Virginia Peoples, Jerry Stewart of Baltimore, Md and Evangelist Jeanette Blackwell of Halethorpe, Md, two brother-in-laws Warren Peoples Jr. and Ivan D. Blackwell and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
