STEPHANIE DARCEL CHERRY, daughter of Barbara and George Cherry, Jr.,was born on July 12, 1966 in Baltimore, Maryland. She suddenly departed this life on July 5, 2010.
Stephanie was christened as a child at Asbury United Methodist Church in Frederick, Maryland and attended New Creation Christian Church in Baltimore, Maryland faithfully.
She received her education in Baltimore and Frederick, Maryland. She attended Gamma Medical Systems, Frederick, Maryland, where she was certified as a Nursing Assistant and Baltimore City Community College to become a Certified Medicine Aide. She had a lot of compassion when it came to caring for her residents. She enjoyed her work of twenty-two years working with the elderly and disabled. She remained committed to nursing until her death.
Stephanie loved to dance and would always know how to do the latest dances. She made nunerous friends wherever she went and will be sincerely missed by everyone who knew her. Her bright and warm smile will forever be remembered.
She leaves to mourn: her mother, Barbara Cherry (Stuart); her father George Cherry, Jr. (Ruth); son, Clifton B. Bowens III; two granddaughters, Ty'Ana Daniels and Tiona Bowens; three sisters, Mary Fenner (Hampton, Va), Clora Mabry (Earl) (Rocky Mount, NC) and Robin R. Cherry (Baltimore, MD); brother, George L. Cherry, Sr. (Baltimore, MD); grandmother, Martha Daniels (Whitakers, NC); three great-aunts, Grace Patterson (Libertytown, MD), Georgia Mae Singelton (Baltimore, MD) and Juanita Cherry (Trenton, NJ); aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives. She leaves to cherish her memory Nicole Stovall, Candace Greever and Latanya Stewart who will miss all of their talks, laughter, smiles and cries-friends to the end...
