A TIME TO BE BORN Spencer Valentino Williams, affectionately known as ''Buck Jones'' was born on June 9th, 1987 in Baltimore, Maryland to Guy Williams, Sr. and Cynthia Yancey.
A TIME TO DIE Spencer left behind the joys and pains of this world on Friday evening of June 11th, 2010 to receive his heavenly crown after completing his work for Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. A TIME FOR SALVATION Although Spencer believed and followed God for most of his life, he made the decision at age seventeen to fully commit his life to the Lord. Joined by his two sisters, Jade and Imani, Spencer was baptized by water immersion in January of 2004 by Pastor Marshall F. Prentice at Zion Baptist Church on Caroline and Lanvale Streets in Baltimore, Maryland.
A TIME TO PLANT Spencer was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System, attending Hamilton Middle and Merganthaler Senior High School earning his diploma in 2005. During high school, Spencer earned a starting spot on the varsity basketball team and continued to pursue his hobby and talent as a basketball player. Spencer later spent time attending the Community College of Baltimore City pursuing an interest in art. He was a talented self-made artist who spent a good amount of his time drawing and sketching for sheer pleasure and enjoyment.
Spencer later joined the United States Navy to fulfill an interest in the area of nursing. He completed the requirements for and received his LPN Certification while in the Navy. After completing his service to the United States Navy, Spencer later became a Longshoreman before obtaining a permanent Supervisory position with the United States Census Bureau.
Buck, as all friends and relatives called him, loved to play basketball, video games, make ''homemade rap cds and videos,'' reading Everyday Life (poetry by Tupac) and constantly joked around with his family and friends. Buck loved all types of music, especially Tupac and Lil Wayne. Although he favored rap music in particular, some of his favorite songs were ''This Is A Man's World'' by James Brown, ''Love and Happiness'' by Al Green, ''Hem of His Garment'' by Sam Cooke and ''Just To Keep You Satisfied'' by Marvin Gay.
There was never a favor that was too big or too small for Buck when called upon for help. Along with his sarcastic, yet hilarious sayings, he will always be remembered for his charismatic, trustworthy and easy-going personality.
Any person that had an encounter with Spencer or knew him intimately received a special gift. As a child, spencer had an old soul, seemingly to be far more mature than his years. He was a self-sufficient and self-motivated young man with an incredibly strong personality and tremendous common sense. He touched the lives of many while performing his earthly service. All who knew him during his time here on earth are left with amazing memories and have been touched by a person with a pure heart.
''I Believe In God'' is quoted by Spencer on his internet page. It was his strong belief in God that defined his life, This belief motivated Spencer at all times and helped him to pursue all his life passions with great enthusiasm.
A TIME TO LOVE Spencer loved all of his family and friends with wonderful delight. He enjoyed spending time with them and made the most of each and every interaction.
