LAKIA EPPS, daughter of Charlene McCoy-Baker, David Epps, Jr. and the late Leroy Cardell Baker, Sr. was born on September 21, 1979 in Baltimore, Maryland. She entered into eternal life on June 8, 2010.
She attended the public schools in Baltimore City and Anne Arundel County and received her G.E.D. at the Baltimore City Community College. Afterwards she worked as a Geriatric Nursing Assitant at various nursing facilities. She loved her family. She also loved reading novels and writing in her journals.
She leaves to mourn: four children, LaTiara, Tysheria, Teonna, and Taykia; a loving mother, Charlene McCoy-Baker; father, David Epps, Jr; one sister, Chardae Baker; two brothers, Leroy Cardell Baker, Jr. and David Tyrell Epps; one grandfather, Charles Cureton; two grandmothers, the late Emma Cureton and Natalie Epps; seven aunts, Jacqueline Hicks, Veronica Johnson, Natalie Johnson, Joanne Jones, Denise Harris, Brenda Hicks, and Yolanda Allen; four uncles, Melvin Cureton, William Cureton, Herbert Anthony and Gerard Baker; a special friend Kevin Jones and a host of other relatives and friends.
