SHIRLEY ANN (DORSEY) WILSON, was born to the late Charles Ted, Sr. and Carrie Lois Dorsey on January 22, 1946 in Baltimore, MD. she was a delightful child, always striving to please her parents. When St. Paul Apostolic Holiness Church was established in 1959 sister Shirley, along with her family, was one of its first member..

Our beloved was educated in the Baltimore City Public Schools and graduated from Fairmont Hill Vocational High School. After high school Shirley took night classes at Baltimore City College High School to improve her secretarial skills.

On March 6, 1971 Shirley was united in holy matrimony to her high school sweetheart, Sylvester Wilson. This union was blessed with two lovely children, Michele Ramona Bowie and Isiah Bayan Wilson. Shirley worked for a few companies before starting an 18 year career at Western Electric. Afterwards she became an entrepreneur and started her licensed day care business. When her mother became incapacitated Shirley assumed the primary responsibility of caretaker for her until Mother Dorsey transitioned to glory.

On Friday, December 1st, after a lengthy illness, in the providence of our God, Sister Shirley departed this world to, as promised in Holy Writ, be ever present with her Lord and savior Jesus Christ!

Shirley was preceded in death by her father, Charles T. Dorsey, her mother Carrie Lois Dorsey, her brother, Charles, Jr., and her sister, Cynthia McCall Bannister.

Left to cherish precious memories are: her husband, Sylvester Wilson; daughter, Michele R. Bowie (husband, Efrem); son, Isiah B. Wilson; granddaughter, Brittany S. Williams; great grandson, Tristian L. Chew; brother (raised with her by her mother) Archbishop Vincent McCall, Sr.; one uncle, Cathage McCall (wife, Margaret); three brothers-in-law, Jerome Wilson, Reginald Wilson (wife Veronica) & Terrence Lyles; four nieces, Olethia Handy (husband, Dexter), Marnita Davis (husband, Dennis), Clarissa White (husband, Michael) and Valencia Gaddy (husband, Fred); one nephew, Nathaniel Blue, Jr.; one very special cousin, Carolyn McCall Awkard; a very dear life long friend, Ms. Betty Leak and a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins, friends and a crew of special friends at Western Electric.
