Saundra D. Grove

June 19, 1955 ~ June 30, 2017 (age 62) 62 Years Old

SAUNDRA DARLENE GROVE, the beloved daughter of the late Dolores Parker and the late Eugene Grove Jr., was born on June 19, 1955 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life after battling an illness on June 30, 2017.

Saundra attended Baltimore City Public Schools, then furthering her education in Early Childhood Development at CCBC in 1987, then Coppin State College in 1993. During her career, she had numerous jobs and positions, the one she loved most was when she had her own group of students at Growing Minds Early Learning Center. She retired from the education field in 1995.

Saundra affectionately known as Doll-Doll or Doll Baby always had a love for being the life of the party. She made every party her own. Where there was a camera, Doll's face, charisma and beautiful smile was sure to be in the lens "Photo Bomber" or "Photo Steelers". Her # 1 team UNDEFEATED YAHHMEAN!

Doll loved spending time with her family. Sharing her sea of wealth of intelligence, recipes and no-nonsense approach to life. You could find Doll Baby with decades of 8 tracks, albums, cassette tapes, CD's VHS tapes and DVD's playing her music and watching her movies finding solace and comfort in her own little world. She enjoyed her life to the fullest.

She found a way of remaining young at heart and versatile with the changing of times by staying connected to her children, grandkids, great-grands and young adults in the family, as the "Monarchy" of the family as she so eloquently stated. She will truly be missed by everyone who knew and grew to love her.

Saundra was preceded in death by Son Walter Spears IV "Poo", Love of Her Life Angelo Ford, sisters Maria Brown, Sheronda Street, Estell Ford and nephew Donnell Delbridge Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memory: only daughter Sharree Silva, two sons Jack Tyson and Darshaun Grove; one daughter-in-law Geneane; son-in-law Rick; five granddaughters, Tierra, Tiffany, Ashley, Shakia and Destiny; three grandsons, Derrell, Jack and JoeQuan; two sisters, Michelle and Karen; two brothers Ray and Rodney; six great-grandchildren, Jy'ierra, Morgan, Derrell Jr., Denver, Autumn, Zori; five aunts, Alice, Joyce, Brenda, Felicia and Carrie; one uncle Tyrone; eight nieces, Lynaia, Rachell, Jerria, Sheltrice, Lasheta, MyRay, Kim and Jamera; six nephews, Ray Jr., Gabriem, Jason, Twon, Tony and Keith; one godchild Paula Johnson and a host of family and friends.
